How To Make Snowy Pinecones- Blogmas No. 1- 2017

Image
Hello and welcome to my first Blogmas post-2017🎄! For those of you who don't know, Blogmas is when bloggers write a post every day in December, most of the time with winter/Christmas themes. Vloggers do the same but it's called Vlogmas, instead and they vlog each day! Anyway, to kick off the Christmas season, I thought I would share with you how to make snowy pinecones. These can be put on a Christmas tree or arranged around the house. You Will Need: Pinecones White Paint Glitter (your choice of colour) Thread/String/Ribbon Paintbrush How To Make Them: First of all, you need to grab your paintbrush🖌 and dip it in a small amount of white paint before turning your pinecone upside down.  Stroke the paintbrush in one direction (down) the pinecone, to give the impression of snow.  Before it dries, sprinkle glitter over it, still holding the pinecone upside down. Let them dry before attaching a bit of ribbon, thread or string to the top so tha

November Must-Haves 2017!

I can't believe it has been a month since my last 'Must Haves' post! Well, here is my November issue and I hope you enjoy! 𐩒 My Butterfly Lights How much I love fairy lights! I got these about 4 years ago and they are still running smoothly. The reason I've chucked them into this month's Must-Haves, in particular, is because I've used them more than I ever have this month. It's just that feeling of cosiness in your bedroom that makes me want to curl up and go to sleep. 𐩒 Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them🙌 I have read this before but I had it out recently and began to read it again. Just as before, I had exactly the same view. It's brilliant. I'm not just saying that because I'm a HUGE Potter fan (which I am 😅!) but it is an amazing read and so easy to take in!  𐩒 Caramel Wafer Tunnock's Caramel Wafers must be one of my favourite chocolate bars. I can't describe them other than they taste

My Winter Breakfast

Image
This might sound mad but I have a winter breakfast. Four days ago, the thought of it made me feel sick but now, as we delve deeper into the winter months, I love having it in the morning. Weird, huh? My winter breakfast is basically a bowl of porridge. I like it with several different toppings, though!🍜 Shreddies Crunchy Nut Cornflakes Raisins Brown Sugar Honey This is so quick and easy to make. Throw some oats and milk together- I don't use measurements😋- and adjust it to how you like! Two minutes in the microwave and mix in some cold milk. Add your topping and you're done! Do any of you guys have a winter breakfast? If so, tell me what in the comments! I hope you enjoyed reading my random post! Stay Tuned For More! Elly🍭

The Metalic Collection

Image
I know this is quite a random post, however, I decided that I wanted to share with you a few items that you might want to buy that have a metallic look. In all honesty, I am a bit obsessed with the shiny look of metallic products. So here are a few:  Cake Tins🎂 Baking is another one of my hobbies that I do like to buy pretty items to go along with it, such as my cake tins. As well as storing my bakes inside them, they look great as decoration, being displayed on my shelves. Rose Gold Fairy Lights💡 These fairy lights are a great addition to my bedroom. I love the fact that they light up the darkest corner of the room and, they look so pretty alongside the wood of my cabinet. Anybody that likes this sort of thing should 100% buy these. It is also a great thing to put on your Christmas list! Stationary Clip Pots Definitely consider these if you need a decorative way of holding your stationary. Also, the clips that come in this are stunning

October Must Haves 2017!

Hello and welcome to my first monthly 'Must-haves' post! In these, I will recommend to you good things that I have discovered this month and tell you where you can buy them. Sorry about this one being a bit late! 😕 The first item I'm going to recommend to you is: ○ Rose Gold Stationary pots📐 I bought these for £2 each in the 'home' section in Sainsbury's . Partly because I thought they were just so pretty but also extremely practical. I always need paperclips and other bits and give and they were such a good deal. ○ Gold Pencil-pot holder🎶 This pot is so beautiful and I love the fact it has a gold bottom. Pots like this can be so practical and yet so pretty.
