How I Wash My Makeup Brushes
As the title suggests, today, I'm going to tell you how I wash my makeup brushes.
I normally wait until most of them are either weighed down with foundation or covered in eyeshadow until I wash them as I am running out of the product that I clean them with and it's time-consuming. This is the Clearasil Daily Gel Wash (linked at the bottom of the page).
To begin, I run the brush under warm water and squirt a blob of product onto my free hand.
Next, twist the brush around in the blob of gel and allow it to lather and make sure I get all the makeup out of the bristles.
In my case, the hot water tap normally will begin to give out scolding water so I sometimes do this under the cold. Rinse the head under the water, making sure all the soap is out of it.
Squeeze the liquid out of it before laying on a towel to dry. I sometimes prop them up underneath the radiator for the day and they are dry by the next morning. For the sake of photography, I didn't, today😀.
