Cosy Night In Pamper Session
Mid-way through December, I posted a 'Positive Winter Morning Routine' and I was thinking to myself that it might be a nice idea to share a night routine, too! I have put together some ideas which you could use to make your evening as relaxing as possible. This would be a great idea to do if you had something stressful coming up the next day, for instance, a job interview. I really hope this comes in useful...
The first thing I suggest doing is running yourself a hot, deep, bubbly bath and throwing your hair up on top of your head. In my cupboard in my bedroom, I found this Body Shop Bath Bomb which I will be using as it smells literally of heaven. Like... so good.
However, before getting in, why not light some scented candles in the bathroom and slap on a face mask? I am using the Origins Clear Improvement Face Mask as it clears my face very effectively.
After the bath, I find the best way to relax is reading. Turn off any technology and settle down somewhere cosy with a good book! If it is not quite night-time and you don't want to get into your pyjamas just yet, find the comfiest, snuggliest, cosiest clothes you own and just be super cosy. This is 100% my favourite part! Especially the fluffy socks!
Painting my nails is another way I like to relax. Try not to do it where you're going to be sleeping, though, because it has a very pungent smell. My final suggestion is to play relaxing music. It doesn't have to be completely classical but the idea is that it's calming! I personally would look up 'relaxation' on Spotify as they have a great variety of options!
This routine is sure to take your day from zero to at least 10 before you know it! I realise that not everyone can do all of these things in one go- I know I wouldn't have the time anyway- so why not try out one or two things a night if the whole thing is a bit too much? Thank you for reading once again! Don't forget to click that 'Follow' button and have a look at my social medias linked below!
Stay tuned for more,
